I talk to them, but I listen to them,. Let them talk about themselves, likes, dislikes, movies, food, why Rick and Morty is great, whatever.
When you shoot them then, you have a rapport, you can talk, you are not BARKING commands, but asking to move their head, their chin move a bit. You want to turn a subject off, go ahead and command.
